links of the week

Today I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite links from this week. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few, the list could go on forever with all the amazing blogs that are out there. But I have my "Top 5" for you guys to enjoy as well!
  • How to make a Blog Button {with a grab box} Ashley from Chevron Stitches shares how to whip a blog button. This is the perfect tutorial for us bloggie nerds! It's nice to always refresh your buttons every couple months or so; or have more than one option like Ashley suggests is great too.
  • 4 Awesome Resources to Overcome Writer's Block Bre from Peacoats & Plaid shares some great links for those of us bloggers who sometimes hit a wall when it comes to writing. I was so glad that she posted this, sometimes I feel like I am pulling from everywhere to get a great post. So I sat down and start to make a list from these resources to always have on hand when I am in need of some great ideas.
  • real life is... Casey from The Wiegands/CaseyLeigh gives you some insight on what real life looks like at their house. She is one of my favorite bloggers. She is so raw and open, you automatically feel connected to her posts whether she is just sharing pictures or writing from her heart.
  • Road Trip: House Hunting Mission Heather from JustLove.ly  takes you on a little trip through parts of Oregon, while her and her hubby go on the hunt for a house. Love her pictures she shared, and so excited for her!
  • I Got the Blues Carrisa from Lillies & Silk is such a stylish Mama!! Best arm candy on the block! She shares this super cute Navy & Yellow outfit this week. I always look forward to her outfit posts! She has such a classic style, but still has fun with it!
  • Making Clothes Work for You - Part 1 Tank Dress Andrea from For the Love of... shows postpartum Mom's, whether it they be a few weeks postpartum or a few...years (like myself), how to dress their new-post baby body.  We all know clothes are the enemy after baby, but she shows how you can embrace/love your new body, while hiding your trouble areas you might have. Looking forward to Part 2!
There you have it!
Some good reads to carry you through the weekend or maybe even just the little one's nap time!
Did you find some great reads this week?? If so leave me the link so I can go check it out!
Happy Friday!!
