recipe // moscow mule

I have a new favorite drink...
The ever so popular Moscow Mule has made it's way in to my life and I don't ever want it to leave.
I usually never go for mixed drinks (unless it's my Mom's margarita) that involve vodka- long story.
But I thought I would give these a try, I mean what's the worst that could happen... Don't answer that.
I love these little guys and even added an "essential" twist.

recipe // chia pudding

So I jumped on the Chia Seed bandwagon! Ordered my self a bag of them and have been putting them in basically everything (well some what)- drinks, smoothies, yogurt.
The other day I saw someone post a photo on Instagram (inspired by Tumbleweeds Handcraft) of Chia Pudding, until then I had no clue such a thing existed. I browsed through a few recipes online and decided to give it a try. You can really make it any way you want, there doesn't seem to be an exact recipe you need to follow. And you can pretty much customize the flavoring to your liking.

recipe // creamy chicken pasta salad

Sometimes I feel like it takes so much work to come up with new dinner ideas, which makes the task that much more daunting. Luckily we live in the new age, which means we have Pinterest to help out- not sure if it's a good thing or bad. And while I do love browsing for new recipes for hours beyond hours (ok so I might not look at recipes the entire time) I find that most of the time I never have on hand what I need to fulfill the newly pinned meal of choice. And yes I could easily plan out my meals like a normal, organized person... But I don't. I then came across this recipe, I didn't have all the ingredients listed, but I had enough of the ingredients to adapt it to something I could feed my family. And we liked it so much, this is our second time eating it with in a week! Bonus Factor is it makes a lot so there is plenty of leftovers!!

oatmeal krispie cookie

I have been having so much fun baking lately. Mainly because I have been using family (my Hubby's family) recipes. It's so awesome to see the name next to the recipe, and think about how all those years ago, they were making these cookies, or frosting that cake.
I love history!
