Harvesting Memories

 

This weekend we packed the kids up in the car for a trip to a local pumpkin patch.

We decided on Chesebrough Farms. 

They are based out of Templeton California, down an old dirt road (for reals!)

I love their whole set up, and that they aren't one of those crazy LARGE pumpkin patches where you have to go out an pick your own... That's totally cool if that's your thing, with toddlers though, the less surface area for them to escape the better!

We had perfect weather too.

The kids enjoyed a wagon ride around the patch and picked out their pumpkins. Okay, I actually picked them out, they could really care less which one they took home.

We even managed to squeeze in a quick family photo op.

Although I am not happy with how I look in them, they came out pretty cute.

We came home with not only pumpkins, but some great memories!

{Preview} Pumpkin Patch Fun

We traveled to the Pumpkin Patch today as a family of 4...

We didn't go last year, horrible I know!

Thought I would share with you a little bit of our fun day!

Attempted some quick family pictures...Realized it's almost nearly impossible to get 

a picture with all four of  looking at the same time.

And, I am okay with that!

{Thankful Thursday} Home Sweet Home

I am so thankful for my Home.

I am not talking about my house, although I am thankful for that too.

I am talking about where I live!

California...the Central Coast...Home

I when most people hear California, they tend to cringe!

Yes with crazy laws and elevated living prices, it can be a downer. 

But if you look past all that, we are pretty luck and fortunate to live in such 

a GORGEOUS place!

And so much more! 

I would say that this place really isn't all that bad...

Currently...Week 3

Currently I am...

Worrying about not getting the kids' Halloween costumes done in time for, well, Halloween. I think I finally settled on what each of them will be, now just a matter of getting them together. Heading out to pick up everything I will need and hoping I don't change my mind!

Listening nothing at the moment. TV going in the background and kids are in bed. Kind of a quiet house......

Wishing for a lot of things. But with out going in to much detail (because I don't like to get political), I am wishing that the country votes this upcoming election. Every vote counts. Who ever you vote for, just vote! (And vote smart!)

Observing life as it whizzes by me. I swear I can't seem to keep up with it. My kid are shooting up like bean poles, no longer babies! I was actually informed by my nearly 3 year old that she is no longer a baby! REALLY!!!!! She could have been easier on my, so blunt! Gaaash!

Considering...... Don't really know where to go with this one. Uhhh... Stuck.... Considering I probably should have thought about things I am considering for this part of the post....

{Tuesday Threads} Birthday Outfit

I was going to post this next Tuesday...But for the sake of it being a "Birthday Outfit" I decided to add another one today. My mom got me these shoes, that I have been DROOLING over!! 

I found this pale pink Quiksilver Women's top at TJMaxx about 2 years ago, wore it once and I have been torn about getting rid of it...

Glad I didn't!
