It's Friday, It's Time for Caffeine...

Happy Friday!! I find myself dragging a little this morning!
Already on my second cup of home brewed goodness!
So if we were on an actual coffee date right now, I would first be sharing how exciting my Thursday was yesterday.
I went back to work!! Ok, so let me clarify that a little. A cute little shop that I worked at pre-munchkins is sadly closing their doors in months time and they asked if I wouldn't mind helping out. Of course I couldn't say no. They were such a big part of my life for so many years, and this would almost be like returning the favor as sort of a thank you to them. So now for the next few weeks I will be there 2 days a week.
This was actually kind of a hard decision for me. I knew immediately that I wanted to do it and after talking it over with the Hubs, I was set with my decision of yes. But being a stay at home mama, I was actually finding it difficult to leave my munchkins. Now with doing my photography and a few other side things, I have gone several hours with out the kids in one day (although it was hard). But I think committing myself to set days every week, kind of freaked me out! HOW WILL I SURVIVE!! (Sorry, I am a little ridiculously in love with my kids, LOL).
So yesterday was my first day, and I have to say it went amazingly well! Both kids and I survived in one piece, the 5 hours we spent apart! I really have a great respect for all you mamas who either work part-time or full time! YOU ROCK!! (My mama being one them too!) I know you got to do what you got to do, but man not seeing those little faces all day, must be hard.
To tell you the truth to I was actually really nervous too. It was like I was starting this whole new job and was so afraid of messing up! Within a half hour, I realized it was kind of like that "getting back on the bike" feeling. I was back in my element. Chatting with customers, folding cute little clothes, and of course making my take home pile (UHH don't judge, you would do the same thing too!)
I was glad to see the kids after work and get them home into bed, I was strangely exhausted too. I will be back at it again on Saturday, but super excited to get back in there!
Cutest Store Right!!
Okay, if these don't make you want to have more little rugrats, then you might have problems!

At this point on our little coffee date, you would be telling me to zip it finally. And I would ask how your week was?? Any fun plans for the weekend?? Did your kids have fun at their first week back at school??

So today I am doing a few linkups! I am going to try an commit to these Friday posts, but we will see how it goes.

{Thankful Thursday} The Hubs

So there are many things that fall under the Thankful category when it comes to my Hubby. It's really hard to pick just ONE thing that he does to be Thankful for...But for the sake of this post, I will choose one to share.

So today I will choose his way of always making me laugh with out even trying.
Whether it's the silly joke that makes no sense, or his version of Michael Jackson's "Moon Walk" (laughing just thinking about that one!), he is always making me giggle! Sometimes even bringing tears to my eyes (I have this weird thing where I cry when laugh really hard, slightly embarrassing at times!)
And I think he has the same effect on others, always bringing a good chuckle to someone's day!
I even sense his funny bone is hereditary, our munchkins are showing signs of funny too!!
His sense of humor is one of the the many reasons I fell in love with him. He can put a smile on my face when I am feeling a little blue and always has the BEST comebacks, I am quite jealous at times!
So with that all said, he is a pretty great guy. And like I said before, there a million one things that he does that I am thankful for. And I love him for every one of those too!

So what are you thankful for this week?? Don't for get to link up your post to Coffee Date with Mustache Mama!

{Weekend Rewind} BUSY!

Happy Monday everyone!!
I swear yesterday was just Friday! These weekends seem to be flying by!
I am a little slacking today on this post. My mind has been going 100 mph these past few days.
If you haven't heard/read I officially opened my Etsy shop this last week.

I am super excited about it. Have been getting a lot of great feedback from so many awesome people! I also just added some of the jewelry I have started making to the shop last night. I think once I get the jewelry part all figured out and established, I will be opening it's own little shop on Etsy. We will see, but I kind of want it to have it's own place and name away from the Mustache Mama shop, it will be like a sister shop I guess.

Any who, that's where I am with all that!
We had a busy weekend visiting Grandma's like usual and enjoying this cooler weather FINALLY!!
It was nice no having to turn on the A/C all day.
I also discovered that Lil Man has a NEW tooth coming in! That would 7 little razors in his mouth!
Lil Miss is still going good with potty training too, still in the early stages but definitely making progress.
Didn't get to see much of my Hubs this weekend, busy working away. But we did make plans to go to the beach this coming weekend which I am really excited about!! Haven't been in over a year!! The kids will love it too, it's all I seem to hear about lately. LOL

Instagram Weekend

Oh, and then this happened...
Kind of peed my pants in EXCITEMENT! LOL

Well that's enough about me rambling! How was your weekend?? Did you do anything and exciting??

GRAND OPENING!! It's OFFICIAL!

I am so EXCITED to announce the GRAND OPENING of my etsy shop!!
I am a little nervous, I have no idea why really. Probably because it's all real and EVERYONE can see what I make now!
So as of now I just have my headbands that I have been hoarding for months now!!
If you follow me on Instagram you have seen some of the jewelry that I have made, some I have already sold in fact! I plan on selling it all in the shop as well! I only had a limited amount of supplies just so I could play around, but the reaction I got from just those 3 pieces has been so incredible and motivating to continue to make more!
I have ordered more fun supplies to make more necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I might just take me a little time to get it all made and posted, so please bare with me!

I am so excited for this little adventure that I have been dreaming of doing for years now!! It's all finally happening!
 ENJOY!!!

{Thankful Thursday} Little Moments

Hey everyone!! It's another post for Thankful Thursday!! Don't for get to link up to my little
This post will be linked up there too!

So this week I was trying to find something to write about. There are many things that I am always thankful for, but I wanted to find something special to share. And that's when this little moment happened!
There was a time when I thought that they, well mainly her, would never like each other! I was actually worried about it! Afraid that they would grow up with no relationship at all. I know that sounds silly, but it did cross my mind. I even asked the pediatrician, not our normal one thank goodness, if all this was normal and her response was "Well that's what you get for having them so close together!" UUHHH...

But lately, there has been a glimmer of hope! They actually in fact not only like each other, they LOVE each other!! YAY!! Watching them all day long interact brings me just pure joy! And I am so thankful that they have each other, especially when they grow up in to young adults.
This Little Moment just melt my heart! He truly loves and cares for her and I think the feeling is mutual towards him!

Let's Do The...Potty Dance!

I am sure all you mamas out there can agree with me on this, Potty Training is just insane! And for those of you who say it's a breeze, I would like to know what juice you are giving your kids!
As a mom, we are always working on trying to get our little ones to achieve each major milestone as they grow big and strong! Sometimes we might even feel the need to push them a little bit, even if they aren't entirely ready. But because society has this perception of how things should be, we find ourselves scrambling to make sure this list of things is done like clockwork!
And then there is the constant drilling to find out why your little one isn't crawling, walking, talking, and of course using the POTTY!
Now I am going to let you know, I tried everything in the book. I took every suggestion given to me, whether I agreed it would work, I tried it. Not one seem to be the winning trick.
At this point I just threw in the white flag!
I was stressing myself out over it and I think Lil Miss was just becoming completely terrified of the whole situation! And I knew that eventually she would come around to it, I just decided I wanted it to be when she was ready and on her terms. (I also realized, she wasn't going to go to Kindergarten in diapers either lol)

So to get to the reason for this post, I am SO HAPPY to share that we have completed 1 successful week of potty training!! All of this was brought on by her too. She decided she was ready, so I ran with it!! She now tells me when she has to go and has even taken up on herself to just go on her own!!
This has been one of those PROUD MOMMY moments for sure!!
Now, we are still working on some potty situations, so I can't say she is completely done with diapers. I think we are definitely headed in the right situation with this whole POTTY Training Situation. I am sure in time she will get it all completely, but I will let her decided when that time will be!
I had decided to get 2 potties. We leave one in the living room and the other in the playroom. Plus who doesn't LOVE options!
These have been my saving grace!!
When I was shooting pictures of her potties, "I GOTTA GO MAMA!"

The Unloved...

I felt the need to get down to business with this mess that I like to call my closet!
Ok, so normally it's not this bad, clothes everywhere but where they need to be...
Laundry is one of my least favorite chores, but that's besides the point.
About every few months or so, I try to make a point to go through my clothes and weed out the "Unloved" items and then donate them so they can feel Loved again. In the process of doing this, I always come across those few pieces that I am so torn over. I find myself asking, well myself, "Does it fit?" "I am I going to wear it again?" "Do I feel great about myself when I wear it?" Of course the answer is always No, but for some silly reason I never get rid of those clothing pieces. I strangely convince myself that I will wear it one day and when ever I do, I will be 5 sizes smaller and it will make me feel better than ever... Yet when I come back to repeat my cleaning process, those items still hang there, Untouched and Unloved. And so the process repeats itself. Now I find that my closet is full of clothes that I never wear, but I just don't have the heart to get rid of them! Like they really care, it's just a shirt for crying out loud!!  HA! That's easier said than done!
So it came time to do my monthly clean out, and this time I decided to not ask myself a list of questions to help convince my brain that I need to keep that shirt that I bought 4 years ago and only wore once because I felt like I was 12 with the silly graphic on the front! And I wasn't going to keep that vest that I so dearly love,  mainly because I bought it in the Maternity section when I was pregnant!! But trust me when I say this, I rocked that vest, pregnant or Not!!
I did it!!! I got rid of every top, bottom and everything in between that had been taking up valuable space for newer items that I do Love. I think my new Loved items were feeling more Unloved than my actual Unloved items...It was a sad sight!
But now those lovely flowy tops and fun stripey knits hang proudly in their new home. Waiting to be worn over and over again. And of course, waiting for the arrival of any new Lovelies that make their way back to my closet, which seems to be happening quite often lately!
Out with the old Maternity Tops...In with my new FUN Target Tops!
Even got rid of shoes and purses....I know it's hard to believe that there was more than this!
Filled a bag of trash and a bag to donate, which I am sure my sister's will fish through first and find their New Loves. Also wanted to give a shout out to my Hubby's side. Of  course he doesn't ever have to deal with the same dilemmas that I am constantly faced with LOL

{Weekend Rewind} Trying to Beat the Heat

Happy Monday and welcome to my new followers!!!
Hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend!!
We had a nice relaxing week. We stayed inside majority of the time because it's still BLAZING hot here!! Spent some time at my mom's and visited with my sister, who was busy making  Corn Hole boards for her upcoming wedding. If you haven't played Corn Hole, you're missing out!
Watched few Shark Week shows. Still makes me that much more terrified of them. Although the technology that they use now is AMAZING! Learned that they are using these Phantom Cameras, which are capable of shooting 1,000 fps (frames per second), to shoot when Great White Sharks breach. If you have not seen videos of this, it's unbelievable. That's my little history lesson for the week.
Then spent the rest of the weekend at home. Cleaning, cooking, and even a little cat napping.
Perfect way to spend the weekend with the ones I love!

How did you enjoy your weekend??

The Hubs caught a praying mantis in our front yard and gave it to Lil Miss. She thought it was a grasshopper, Tomato-Tamato!
She made a new friend! Poor little guy had to put up with quite a bit. Some shakes here and there and even tossed across the room! While she wasn't paying attention, I did a little Praying Mantis release so he could live to see another day...Well to only be caught again a few hours later so Lil Miss could have him again.
